Today, two years ago, 79ºF was the highest recorded temperature. Though the theme seems to indicate that spring has arrived, that will not occur today.
The storm is currently dispersing. We begin the day with mild temperatures, drizzle, and fog. Windy conditions will help us get away. However, there isn’t much chilly air in the area. Later on Saturday, we’ll get more rain from the next storm.
On Sunday afternoon, there might be some flurries that reach central Maryland and Pennsylvania, but they won’t have any effect. We may have lost out on this final glimpse of winter. The likelihood of snowfall is decreasing, making it more challenging to break through into an early spring.
We’ve had the majority of the rain for today. There are isolated areas of fog, drizzle, and sporadic showers. The north winds will try to push us away as they build in. Later on Saturday, the next storm that is building over Texas will make landfall here.
