Tim Hortons and adidas Samba together to celebrate National Donut Day

International restaurant chain and coffee shop Tim Hortons launches a celebration shoe collection in collaboration with adidas Originals as part of their latest creative effort.

This year, the heritage food establishment is going over and above in honor of National Donut Day, a mainstay of the Tim Hortons menu.

The outfit pays respect to some of its historical flavors by dressing up a variety of the enduringly popular adidas Sambas.

Remaining local, Tim Hortons enlisted the help of well-known sneaker industry veteran and customizer Jack Nguyen to create this capsule, utilizing Tim Hortons’ own Boston Cream, Vanilla Dip, Honey Cruller, and Double Chocolate donuts to tap into an array of flavors (pardon the pun) and colorways.

Introducing the pairs: the Double Chocolate keeps things basic with a completely brown colorway, while the Vanilla Dip version takes a tongue-in-cheek approach with shades of tan and brown hitting the suede top and multicolored sprinkles falling on the heel counter and tongue.

The last two pairs are the Honey Cruller version, which comes in a soft golden tan leather, and the Boston Cream, which appears in brown suede with cream accents and a deeper tan color.

As anticipated, the tongue label of each pair features the joint Tim Hortons and adidas Originals Samba insignias, and the gum outsoles maintain some consistency.

The Tim Hortons x adidas Originals Samba collection, which is only available in Canada, will be raffled off today, June 7.
