The ‘Love Earth’ Tour for Neil Young and Crazy Horse has been announced

On the road for the first time in ten years, Neil Young and Crazy Horse are going to embark on their first official tour. Beginning on April 24 in San Diego, California, it will continue until May 23 in Chicago, Illinois, where it will come to a close.

Today marks the beginning of ticket sales for those who are subscribers to The Neil Young Archives, And the sale of tickets for the general public will start from 16th February.

Additionally, the band is releasing a live album titled FU##IN’ UP, which was recorded at concerts that took place in the previous year. “In the spirit it’s offered…made this for the Horse lovers,” Young said in a statement. “I am unable to stop it. The equine is starting to run. What a ride do we have here? I don’t want to disrupt the atmosphere in any way.I’m so glad I get to share it with you.

Since 1968, Neil Young has playing with the Crazy Horse rhythm section, which consists of Ralph Molina (drums) and Billy Talbot (bass), in his musical performances. Sadly, Danny Whitten, the original guitarist for Crazy Horse, passed away in 1972. Beginning in 1975 and continuing until his retirement in 2018, Frank “Poncho” Sampedro, who was a member of the band.

In 2018, Sampedro was replaced by Nils Lofgren, who had just played with Crazy Horse for a short period of time during the early 1970s, when the band was working on an album apart from Young. During the course of the last four years, they have released three albums.

Concerns about Covid caused Neil Young to take the longest break of his six-decade career, which lasted from 2010 until 2022. He did not perform at that time. In the summer of 2023, he made his comeback with a solo tour called Coastal, which was centered on songs from his extensive catalog that had been neglected.
