The partner of a well-known adult film star passed away, and authorities believe that she overdosed. Around 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jesse Jane and Brett Hasenmueller were discovered unconscious in a Moore, Oklahoma, residence by neighborhood police doing a welfare check, according to police department sources.
“When officers arrived at the home, we found two subjects deceased,” Byley said. “One of them is Jesse Jane; the other is her apparent boyfriend, Brett Hasenmueller.”
According to Byley, the cause of death appears to have been an overdose, and the authorities do not suspect foul play. The state’s medical examiner is doing a toxicology report and verifying the cause of death.
The deaths of Hasenmueller and Jane are currently being looked at as suspected drug overdoses, according to law enforcement sources.
The couple’s specific cause of death is still unknown, and it’s unclear how long they had been living in the house when their remains were found. A medical examiner will make the final determination after conducting an investigation.
According to sources, Hasenmueller’s supervisor had not spoken to him in a few days, so he had called the police to do the welfare check.
“I am devastated to learn of the tragic loss of my friend and client, legendary adult film actress Cindy Howell, p/k/a Jesse Jane. My thoughts and prayers are with family,” Jane’s rep, Scotty Gelt, said.
He adds that Jane died with several projects underway.
