Fans of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are hoping for a wedding in the near future as their relationship heats up.
But during a press conference on Monday (Feb. 5), the Kansas City Chiefs tight end addressed engagement rumors to some extent as he prepared for Super Bowl XVIII.
“I’m focused on getting this ring,” he said, referring to a ring that would be awarded to the winner of the Super Bowl championship. “That’s all my mind is focused on right now.”
Kelce did take a moment to express his admiration for Taylor Swift’s historic performance at the Grammy Awards this week. Swift made history by becoming the first artist to win album of the year at four different Grammy Awards.
He stated, “She is unbelievable.” “She is rewriting the history books herself, and I told her that I would have to keep my end of the bargain and come home with some hardware as well,” he said.
When Swift was in Kansas City for her Eras Tour stop in July, the football player attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet. This was the beginning of the real-life “love story” that Swift and Kelce have been experiencing together. Over the course of time since then, the singer has been seen at a multitude of Chiefs football games, and the two of them have been seen going on dates together on multiple occasions.
The Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers for the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 11, in Las Vegas. However, it’s still unclear whether Swift will be able to go to Las Vegas on Sunday
During the period of February 7 to 10, she will be performing four shows at the Tokyo Dome in Japan, which will mark the beginning of the Asian and Australian leg of her Eras tour. Following that, she will have a few days off before she departs for Melbourne, Australia, where she will perform on February 16th.
